i celebrated my 23rd birthday yesterday. well, i didnt really celebrate…i was working. =P i was planning to do sumthin at night but things din go as plan. anyhow, this year is one of the best birthdays since a long time ago. no, i did not get any cool or expensive presents, nor did actually receive any presents. hahaha…but this is the one year that i’ve gotten so many(many in my counts la..) birthday wishes that my phone was basically beeping from 12am till night. it was so touching to get birthday wishes even from people who i never in my life thot will wish me or best still…even knows when’s my birthday! heck, even friends whom i’ve known for years don’t know when’s my birthday. =)
i knoe that i’ve lost a few close friends along the way..but God has truly been kind to me. He has blessed me with so many wonderful new found friends that i am so grateful of and one particular sms that i got really touched my heart. a sms from “sifu” who wished me happy birthday. i was very surprised because as far as i know, he doesnt have my number and God knows how in the world did he noe that yesterday was my birthday. when i asked him bout it..this is what he told me, “Of course we know! You are surrounded by people who really care about you! You are special to us!”
that really, really touched my heart.
of course, the best of all was when my friends, my “partners”…celebrated for me on sunday. a lil early, yes…but i’m not complaining. =D it was a surprise of course..with a yummy blueberry cheesecake from secret recipe. *yUm**YuM* it was so sweet and kind of them to celebrate my birthday with me..and i was totally surprise. Thank You so much guys! =D
all in all…i really hope with this new age..i’ll gain more wisdom in life, in the things i do, the decisions i make and of course to get my mini ASAP. ;o)
